Physique 57 Hoboken Studio Manager

We are looking for a Studio Manager to be the face, heart and soul of the Physique 57 Hoboken studio and brand. This is a part-time onsite position at our studio in downtown Hoboken. This multi-faceted role is responsible for executing directives to achieve studio performance and growth goals, including coaching and collaborating with the front desk staff and instructors. This role will report directly to the studio owner.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition, Retention, and Recovery & Staff Performance and Experience

  • Own the studio’s KPIs including revenue, visits and membership, staff performance and satisfaction, and client experience
  • Recruit and coach Client Success Team (front desk) members
  • Manage class scheduling by collaborating with the instructor team including special workshops
  • Control studio expenses while ensuring adequate staffing year-round
  • Execute marketing strategies to grow and retain clients across events, email, social, and WOM
  • Provide an outstanding boutique shopping experience in the studio
  • Foster and nurture local business partnerships, including through cross promotions & partner events

Facility Operations, Supply Management & Merchandise Management

  • Handle day-to-day facility maintenance to keep a consistent look and feel in line with brand guidelines
  • Manage retail merchandise inventory, record keeping, and point-of-sale systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum
  • 20 – 25 hour per week commitment
  • Strong marketing and sales experience, preferably 2+ years in fitness or retail
  • Establish and meet monthly revenue targets. Track all KPIs leading to revenue generation and trends
  • Spearhead initiatives for client acquisition, retention, and recovery
  • Dynamic, high-energy, engaging personality. A dynamic speaker who can confidently articulate our value proposition to clients and business partners
  • Foster and nourish local business partnerships. Savvy marketer and relationship manager
  • Excellent writer who can produce marketing collateral in line with brand guidelines without supervision
  • Client service manager extraordinaire. Able to artfully walk a fine line of being empathetic and making exceptions v. sticking to policy
  • Experience managing advertising accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Google
  • Local Hoboken / Jersey City candidates strongly preferred

Compensation:

  • $18 – $25 hourly salary based on experience, plus commissions on performance in meeting monthly sales targets
  • Opportunity for growth as the studio continues to open new locations

PHYSIQUE 57- Concierge Team: NY

We are currently seeking an outgoing, results driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Concierge Team as a Part Time Concierge at our New York City locations (Soho or Upper East Side). The part time Concierge is a front-line business driver and brand ambassador of Physique 57. Under the direction of the Studio Operations Manager, Concierge’s must exhibit keen knowledge of our products, services and merchandise in order to deliver luxury customer service while maximizing studio sales. Pay is $15/hr plus commissions.

Front Desk Responsibilities:

  • Provide top level concierge and reception service to clients
  • Perform essential daily studio tasks and projects, including client check in, maintaining luxury studio look and feel, light housekeeping, etc.
  • Build rapport with current and prospective clients to foster studio community and brand loyalty
  • Maintain a positive attitude and represent the organization and its values in a positive way
  • Provide support to Instructors and work as a team with all other staff
  • Assist with the training of new hires for the Concierge Team as needed
  • Maintain product knowledge for all studio operations
  • Uphold company brand standards in terms of studio look and feel, client service and company culture

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Maximize studio and merchandise sales through excellent customer service, communication of product knowledge and presentation
  • Maintain computerized records of all clients and prospective clients with our CRM system (Momence)
  • Implement provided sales strategies to produce sales, leads and referrals
  • Identify potential sales opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals
  • Foster community as a Member Concierge by completing monthly engagement calls with our members

Requirements:

  • Love of fitness and wellness
  • 2+ years of sales, customer service, and/or hospitality experience
  • Prior sales experience in fitness or luxury goods is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Strong computer skills (Momence application experience is a plus)
  • Superior problem solving and multitasking abilities
  • Strong work ethic and confidence in taking initiative
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a constructive, rapidly evolving environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability is a must, i.e. weekends, nights, early morning, holidays
