Ronnette gained 60 pounds over the course of 20 years. She always thought of changing her lifestyle but never quite found a workout that suited her knee issues. In February 2011, she decided to make a change despite her body’s limitations and her results show incredible determination.
Just like every year for the past 10 years, I once again said I would try and loose the weight that I had gained over the past 20 years. On February 1, 2011 I started my workout and diet plan. I was motivated by seeing the results from a childhood friend. She was doing a very intensive workout that is sold on TV. Her body looked incredible and I wanted to look that way too. I knew that I couldn’t do that program, because of my knees. I started my workout plan with Wii exercise games. I started working out 7 days a week at 20 min and then increased to as much as 2 hours. On Dec. 7th I switched to Physique 57 after reading an article in a magazine about Kelly Ripa. I wanted my arms to look like hers. I have lost 59 pounds and 33 inches total. Wow! My abs started toning in 3 weeks. My arms are amazing. My butt has lifted and my thighs are smaller. I maintain a healthier diet and work out 5-6 hours per week. I only use Physique 57. If I gain a couple pounds; it melts right back off. I enjoy the workout and hope to continue to see my body tighten up.
