There’s nothing like the glow that only a good workout can provide, but are you letting that gorgeous skin shine through? Dr. Dennis Gross, Manhattan dermatologist and founder of renowned skincare brand Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, has a few tips to ensure that you stay radiant long after you’ve felt the burn.

1. Cleanse skin immediately to avoid bacteria build-up.
A workout increases sebaceous activity in the oil glands.  Dead skin collects on the surface of the skin, which can block pores and then trap oil. As a result, bacteria can grow in that trapped oil gland, which can turn into an infection. If you’re in a hurry, grab an EZ4U Facial Towelette to remove excess oil, dirt, and makeup while replenishing essential moisture to the skin.

2. Prevent blemishes and backne.
It is a good idea to change clothes and shower as soon as you’ve completed your workout because bacteria can develop from sweat and is most likely to gather under the seams of your sports bra or shorts/waistband.  To give skin an even deeper clean, use an Alpha Beta® Smoothing Body Towel after your shower – it’ll exfoliate skin to remove dead skin cells and clarify for perfectly smooth, clear, touchable skin.

3. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
Be sure to return moisture back to the skin after sweating it out! Sweating is one of the ways that your body releases water. By using Hydra-Pure® Oil Free Moisturizer or Hydra-Pure® Smart Spray, you can refresh your complexion as well as restore the optimum hydration levels to the skin.

Good luck and we hope you will use these tips next time you hit the barre!
